This Rolex Date ref. 1500 sports a truly killer blue ‘mosaic’ dial. This dial really shines in sunlight where it flickers a full range of blue shades ranging from Cerulean to Lapis. The 2.5m serial # dates to 1971. The bracelet is a slightly later but much more solid 78350 dating to 1980 which gives the watch much more wrist presence than some of the folded link bracelets that came out of the early 70s.
