Patek Philippe ref 3796 - White Gold - Full Set

A classic Calatrava from Patek Philippe, this 3796D is cased in solid 18k white gold and is accompanied by its original box and warranty papers. The D suffix denotes clous de paris hobnail bezel as opposed to the flat, high polished bezels found on most 3796. These hobnail examples are often paired with porcelain dials featuring painted roman numeral hour markers which we see here. The watch is preserved in great honest condition with some surface wear to the 18k white gold case but factory lines are sharp and prevalent. There are a few more significant scratches and a ding on the caseback. The watch still retains its original 18k white gold PPco signed pin buckle. Any 3796 in white gold is a rare find, but finding one that retains its original box and papers is far rarer.
