A late second series example of the beloved Patek Philippe ref. 3940J perpetual calendar. With first series commanding record prices, the spotlight has naturally turned to the second series, and for good reason.

This example features a beautifully balanced dial, far more elegant than those of the later series. Crisp hallmarks remain intact, a rarity given how often they’re lost to polishing. Offered with its original strap, buckle, and Extract from the Archives dating sale to 1990. This example is preserved in great condition and is running well.
