Rolex GMT Master Ref. 16753 'Rootbeer'

The ‘Rootbeer’ is our personal favorite in the Rolex carbonated beverage nickname lineage. This specific example dates to 1985 and is in impeccable original condition. The bracelet is tight and the original finish is in tact as this watch has likely never been polished. The brown dial and bicolor bezel perfectly compliment the two tone (steel & 18k gold) case and jubilee bracelet. This particular Rootbeer reference was the exact one that Clint Eastwood sported over his career. Clint’s 16753 can be spotted in his portrayal of a Secret Service agent in the 1993 action classic In the Line of Fire.
